Default Question about Mustang seats

I've got a stock Nightster with a 3.3 gal tank which I would like to get a new seat for.

After searching this forum, I've narrowed it down to the Mustang Tripper Solo + Rear Seat or Vintage Solo + Rear seat.

However, I like the look of the stock Nightster where there is a gap between the gas tank and seat.

I'm wondering how I can maintain that gap with the Mustang seats. Would either the Tripper Solo or Vintage Solo for the 4.5 gal tank fit on my Nightster with the 3.3 gal tank? And would the look be closer to the original stock seat with the gap between the gas tank and seat?

Thanks for any ideas

Raz

Thanks for this.
I called Mustang. They were very helpful.

They confirmed that indeed to maintain that gap between the seat and gas tank as on the stock Nightster, I can get a seat for the 4.5 gal tank and put it on my Nightster with the 3.3 gal tank.

Also, the guy said that the Vintage Solo is definitely more comfortable than the Day Tripper.

Thanks,
Raz

So did you get the seat? What do you think? How does your passenger like the back pad?

I've ordered the Mustang wide vintage solo for 4.5 gal tank + air bladder phantom passenger pillion. I'll post a picture as soon as I get them.
