I pulled out a phone book and went down the line calling every bank for the best Bike Rate. Alot of banks still havent begun loaning yet from the financial meltdown so I wouldnt be surprised to find many wont do a refinance.

I've got really no credit. Only 1 vehicle paid off and it wasn't a big loan. I have had a few unknown issues on my history tho (rental movie that went missing but an ex "had returned it", storage unit false filing after I gave notice and moved out and a $35 filing that I never did track down the exact company for).

I figured I would probably need a co-sign anyways, so I asked pops and ended up with 6.5% over 5 years which will allow me to double up on most of my payments yet not have to worry if something comes up.

I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Some insurance companies have pretty good rates on motorcycle financing. Check with your insurance provider.

Try State Farm. Thats who I financed my bike through. They'll even loan 120% of the bike value. You might actually get a lower payment with a little extra for some HD goodies.
