Default Luggage Rack

I'm looking at options for rack or bags. Most bags don't look like they hold much. So I'm back to the rack option for a trip. I'd prefer not to keep the rack on the majority of the time. I put on a solo seat and want to keep the sporty lookin' sporty. Of course HD has the detachable for 200+ with hardware. I've looked at Milwauke Twins and Motherwell racks that mount on the fender. Does anyone have any experience with these? Just wondering if they mark up the fender, and how they've worked for you in general. Or if you have an HD detachable, how much crap can you feasibly load up on it? Thanks for any info.

My luggage rack is not detachable. And it is mostly used as a flag mount. But I have this bag set, and you can pack a ton of stuff in this. I think there is still a chick packed in mine from my last trip.

It's a Harley t-bag set. Works well. Not sure how well it would work with a solo seat and detach luggage rack though

Kuryakyn makes Sissy Bar/Rack combo where the rack folds up into the Sissy bar when not in use. Someone else makes one, too, but I can't find the link right now. Kuryakyn link: http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.Default

Kuryakyn also makes the coolest expandable truck bag as well, you can use it for a weekender or a week or two (depends on how you pack LOL) The on-line description is kinda sucky because it DOESN'T say that you can mount it to just the luggage rack and don't need a sissy bar, and you CAN!

I've got the bag on my St Bob as well-see pics in my album

I just converted my Sporster over to a FatBob rear fender and I have a Motherwell rack in brand new condition that I would be happy to sell to you if you are interested. It bolts to the fender behind the solo seat. Let me know and I can send you a pic.
