Default My Second Sporty A 2012 Forty-Eight

I got me a 2012 Forty Eight a few weeks ago and have went to town on it. I have made her into a bit of a bobber.

I decided not to do a full build thread like I did on my Cafe build but instead just post the final product pics.

The café build can be seen here if interested
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...afe-build.html

As you can see from the pics. I have done a few things to her. Nothing as extensive as the Cafe Project but it is still a pretty cool bike and is a blast to ride.

Well her she is:

Before:

This bike was very clean when I bought it. Only 4100 miles on it and he had done some pretty cool stuff also.

Here are some of the things that were already done.
-Biltwell Frisco Bars

-Arlen Ness Micro Oval Mirrors
-Arlen Ness Short Front Turn signal mounts
-Alren Ness Stage 1 Big Sucker With wrinkle Black cover
-7" Chrome Headlight from a Heritage Softail
-Joker Machine Riser Clamp with Dummy Lights
-Tank mount Speedo Relocation
-Dk customs coil and ignition relocation with 1.5 tank lift
-V&H Blackout Exhaust
-Power Commander 5
-LaRosa SwingArm Bag
-Performance Machine Grips and Pegs
-Biltwell Mushman Passanger Pegs
-Biltwell Points Cover
-HD Wrinkle Black Derby Cover
-HD Wrinkle Black Primary Inspection Cover
-Custom painted 3.3 gallon tank
-HD Black Flush mounted gas cap

After:

-I swapped out the V&H Black Out Exhaust for the shorter and better performing Patriot Defender.
-Chopped the rear fender and struts
-Installed Burly Slammer Shocks
-Painted side covers and fender Satin Black
-Made some brackets and relocated rear turn signals to the Upper shock mount
-Installed AntiGravity 16 Cell Lithium Small Case battery and relocated the ECM to the battery box.
-Rewired the bike to move or remove all wiring on the front down tubes.
-Relocate front turnsignals
-Had custom CNC machined matching Derby and Timing covers made by Figure Machine. I then sanded and aged the bare aluminum.
-Ditched the passanger pegs and belt guard
-Custom chopped the front pulley and cam covers
-Put some Mid Controls on from my 883

Here are a couple pics of the girls together:

The Bikes looks awesome! The coil relocation and tank lift really clean up the look a lot, and i must say you did some great mods. And you had the best help to get it all accomplished

Cool stable Chris. Both look great. All you need is a bagger to round it out.

I like the looks of the 48 better.

A little graphic on the tank would be a nice touch...racing flag?

I'm diggin the derby/timing covers. First glance I thought it was some sort of celtic or aztek design.
