Exclamation Solo Seat Mount Without Springs

So I just bought a sick solo seat and want to mount it to the frame of my sportster without springs. I've got shocks, and don't need another pair under my butt. Any ideas how I'd go about this? Pics and ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You can go to the hardware store an buy some hose to fit over the studs for the springs and some rubber feet to put over the hose. I can't get you the link right now but there is a guy that did this over in the xl forums web site. I believe he put nuts on the studs, 5/8 hose over that and then he used black rubber furniture feet that fit over the hose.

TexFF on this forum had the same question and I sent him the link so you might try searching for his post ou search for springer seat mounting. As soon as I can I will post the link if you don't find it

Thanks brother! Using the rubber chair tips seems like a great alternative to springs. Looks like tomorrow I'm going to homedepot...
