Did you have your heads flowed?
I used Head Quarters to do my work, Doug is one of the originals that everyone else copies he's been at it for well over 30 years and he does make a kit that makes over a 100HP for Sportsters but it's intense and almost not streetable.
You'd probably be amazed at the what Doug calls the mild kit that I have, it flat hauls ***, I would bet there aren't a handfull of bikes here it Boise that are faster.

Would it be possible to provide more info on "Head Quarters," or do I just Google them on the web?

bad day 85 hp 75 tq , good day 90 hp 75 tq ... thats with 2 into 2 , 2 into 1 , heads , 575 cams 11.1 comp , roller rockers , bla , bla , bla... better have some $$$$ this is after 4 dyno runs.... even 85 hp with 75 tq is very respectable on an EFI sporty..

I went with NRHS Air Cleaner and 1250 kit, D&D Bobcat exhaust, high flow injectors and SE cams. Had Baisley rework the heads and bore out the throttle body. Plus a half dozen hours on the dyno setting the map just right. Also had to put in a lock out clutch since the stock one wouldn't handle the extra power. That got me above the 100 mark on my Iron.

Thumbs up

Madmax, it doesn't look as if 100HP is ambitious enough, if it's that easy!

At least you can see that it can be done.

Default I'm there also

So I have a 2003 anniversary 1200 I have done SE complete stage 4 heads and cams and Arlen ness stage 2 big sucker with bassani side by side shortys adjustable ignition and dynojet big twin carb kit still need to upgrade clutch and probably going to run a different filter because the big sucker is pretty bad when it rains because the filter is so large water does get into it and it doesn't recirculate blow back very well and I haul *** everywhere but I'm putting out close to 100 at the tire now I had the dealer build it and I never bother with changing piston size or anything because the bigger valves and lager cams got me where I like it but with the stock clutch I can tell I'm not hooking into the friction zone very quickly but still pull the wheel if I get a little antsy with the throttle over all I have been running it this way for about a year and half and as long as the air filter is cleaned every oil change and this thing is the most reliable transport I have ever had no problems at all out of it except when I neglect the air filter it can't breath and fouls plugs really quick but over all great reliability

Fouling the plugs on an evo sporty is almost never heard of unless there is a major issue.

Close to a 100 hp without a dyno sheet or dyno tune usually means 85 hp.

You must have the rubbermount version of the screamin eagle stage x with 575 or 585 cams?

Welcome to the forum!!!!

I've been crawling the web trying to figure out why hd says se-585 cams cant go in 2004-2013 bikes. I want to use 585.

same goes for the se-stage 4 "street" version. The street version uses 585s and says it's for 2014+. The race version of the stage 4 kit

looks like they revised the race kits this year with "A". And they now use 585 intead of 575.

WTH?
