I wrote in before abought how I cant see behind me ( wearing a coat ) from my rear veiw mirrors .
If I ,m only wearing a t-shirt I ,m o.k ( sumwhat )
I herd of different ways to go to fix the problem.
Some were to change the handlebars out with the 2006 1200 R sportster bars .
Some say use long stem mirrors or get extentions .
Any one else have this problem and get it resolve ?
Looking at the skull tear drop mirrors , Are they a wider veiw than stock ??
My bike is a 2004 Sportster 883 XL ,
P.S. already tried to reajust them with very little improvement .
Any other Harley bars interchange with a problem ??
Thanks for any help.......
That's what I did on my 1200 C. Adjust the stems further forward, away from your grips and then adjust the mirrors accordingly. It worked for me. I have the mirrors pushed far enough out that I can just barely see my shoulders in the mirror. I find I can still see behind me and it gives me a good periphial (?) view.
