How does it look?

Looks better than the 1200C riser. What top clamp/speedometer mount did you use?

How does it look to you?? That is really the only opinion that matters.

As for me, I think it looks silly with the speedo mounted that high. And risers like that are really meant for drag bars. But like I said......"Hows it look to you?"

Curt1953 10-30-2009 08:53 AM

Ahhhhh YUK! Looks really silly man, sorry. Apes would look much better than that, just being honest with you here.

Meattruck138 10-30-2009 10:29 AM

Maybe some wide beach bars? Sumthin just aint right, just MHO

AdrianVall 10-30-2009 11:08 AM

No way! I love it man.. I think it looks awesome. In fact, it would look better with taller risers. But I'm not sure why you went with black risers? I think chrome would have suit your ride a bit better.. but regardless, it looks good.

Looks pimp....what parts did you use to convert from the stupid custom riser? what was the total cost?

Austen 10-30-2009 11:33 AM

looks pretty good, i would invert the bars tho.

jag1886 10-30-2009 03:14 PM

IMO it's freakin nasty, put it back the way it was.

DallasSportster 10-30-2009 03:32 PM

I like the risers but the speedo looks out of place way up top.

Albeezy1984 10-31-2009 12:49 PM

I used 5.5 inch risers with the speedo housing from a 1200L. It fits like a glove. In regards to why i picked the black risers, is because I had to somehow hide the wiring from the gauges....if i used chrome risers, the wiring would be more visible. The gauge is actually not that high. I guess different strokes for different folks.

+1... relocate the speedo.

SHOAT 11-01-2009 10:22 PM

Albeezy1984 - what was the cost of the 1200L top clamp?

Albeezy1984 11-02-2009 12:28 AM

Man ide hate to say it, but it was FREE. My roommate has a 1200L and he switched to T BARS without gauges. So i put em to use.

SHOAT 11-02-2009 05:49 AM

Lucky dog! I don't want to talk to you anymore! LOL

oinker02 11-02-2009 11:45 AM

Glad you got the mod bug, but the risers really need to be chrome. You also need a straight drag bar, and you Must relocate the speedo.

just sayin...........

Albeezy1984 11-02-2009 02:12 PM

u guys really think the gauge is high? cus i swear its not that high.... lemme get u better pics. if it was chrome, wat about the fugly wires?

Do a search for speedo relocation. If you relocate the speedo the wires will go with it. Its not that the speedo is too high, it just looks out of place on top of the risers in my opinion. In the end its your bike and if you like it then that's all that matters.
