Default HD Pull Back Handlebars

Part No. 56021 - 04A - no longer available from HD. In doing a search - there are a few rare dealers out there who may have one in stock - but otherwise, HD is no longer making this item and it is considered obsolete.

Just providing fyi in case anyone out there was planning on buying it.

why did you go to the mini apes? (besides the look)..Also, can the Sporty accommodate the miniapes? I was told that the various lines would have to be too long.

You can rewire the wires to any length. All you need to do is add wire length, solder, and some shrink tape. Fairly simple to do, but is kinda time consuming. Then you have to get longer cables.

I am in the middle of putting 12" apes on. All i have to replace is the clutch and brake line. All the other wiring was long enough.

Annie
Sorry for the delay, I went with the Mini Apes mounted on the stock HD 6" risers because of the look and I like the feel.
I only had to use the longer brake line All cables fit [ clutch just makes it] There was enough wire length under the tank [and I moved the right side wire harness]

Hey Nevar,

What's the rise on those mini-Apes you put on? I'm looking for a slight increase in height as well without having to lengthen the wires.

Thanks in advance!
