Dyna front end and 16" wheel on a sportster???
Have an 08 sportster low and a set of triple trees and 49mm forks from a dyna. Will they fit? Will a 16" front wheel from a softail fit in a sportster with a mid-glide conversion or is the hub too wide? Ultimate goal is to get a sportster with a wider front end and a 16" wheel. Any issues with factory rake? thanks

Factory HD 16" wheels will not fit in a MID glide. The hubs are just too wide.
Factory HD trees that run a 16" wheel have less neck stem to fork tube offset. This will not affect your rake unless the length differs from your stock front end. However, it WILL increase your trail. Do the calculations before you purchase.
www.vulcanworks.net sells everything you need to run a 16 with your stock fork legs. Give them a call because not all of their info is on their site.
The bike in my sig pic has a 16 in the stock narrow glide front end. Since you guys haven't found info here regarding a 16" front wheel I thought I'd throw that in there to make you wonder.
