Default Let me see your colors!

When I ride I usually wear my hoodie, but when the temp drops I wear my leather jacket or a black denim vest. I want to start adding patches because its kinda plain looking. I know I want to add one for my state and some other personal stuff. So lets see what your vests look like. We have plenty of pics of bikes but let's see the vests.

Oh hell dude, you just opened the flood gates.....

front of my cut is in my sig pic, back is just the CVMA back patch.....the white patch at the bottom is a GBNF patch for a brother we lost a few months ago, the HD patch was on the vest, there's a Long Range Surveillance scroll, POW/MIA patch, one with a skull that says " Hadji Hunting Club" and a few CVMA specific patches. On the right side I have a patch with the opening line of the 2nd amendment which is sewn so it sits right over the butt of my pistol.....

Well Id have to say if your not in an MC you do not have colors. You might have a vest and unless your a 1%er it better have a collar on it.

I've never heard that about a collar. None of our guys have collars on their vests that I can think of, we have been to events with 1%er MCs and ridden with them, never had any issues....

Never heard the collar / no collar rule either. Dang near all the vests I see on the road dont have a collar regardless for who they ride with.

I would imagine 99.999% of all the vests you see riders wearing do not have a 'collar'...

Traditional MC's are concerned about what some might wear on a vest (especially on the back), but they could care less if your vest or jacket has a collar or not...

They also don't care if you wear fingerless gloves, black leather boots, or even if you are wearing original KD glasses.

I think as long as you don't have an MC patch they won't bother you. I have benefit ride badges on the thing. I'm not trying to look like a gang member. If anything I look more like a boyscout than a thug.

I dont mean vest bought as vest even though in the right place that can cause trouble. But if you buy a jean jacket and cut the sleeves off DO NOT remove the collar as it is a sign that your a 1%er And you will be challenged on it. ANy way I just got a 2001 sporty to go with my electraglide so I will be here and touring section.

WTF??? sorry guys, but all that coller stuff sounds more than a little paranoid.
I am definitely not a 1% er and wear a vest occasionally. NEVER had a collar, been around some well known clubs that aren't shy about their local status, and have Never been "challenged". WOW. we still are in the USA, right?
