I need some input.
I have a custom Sportster project going. 1999 engine belt drive.
I can get a custom 65 tooth rear pulley (to match custom wheel) and can install a 28-30 tooth transmission pulley... 30 tooth preferred due to ratios involved.
Does anyone know if a 139 tooth 1-1/8 inch wide belt will fit with a pulley to pulley minimum centerline distance on this rigid frame at 24-1/2 inches?

Any other suggestions... I don't want a chain rear drive.

I have nothing constructive to add since I'm going with a chain (to keep from spacing the front pulley so far)...but I'd like to see pics if you don't mind passing the time until someone with more knowledge chimes in. It sounds like a cool build.

 

Convert to chain you'll be ahead!!

 

hope this gets you close.I run a 136 tooth belt 29t drive It's 25" ctrline to ctrline adjusted.That puts me in the center of my adjustment on the swing arm.I would think a 139t belt and 30t front might be a little long if you don't have another 1" or so of adjustment left.G.
