Default Exhaust Gaskets- OEM vs SE

OEM exhaust gaskets or Screamin' Eagle gaskets with aftermarket exhaust? I'm worried about a potential leak with the thinner SE gaskets recommended by the exhaust manufacturer.

Cycle Shack recommended the screamin eagle version in the instructions that came with my exhaust. I went with them, no problems 3 years later. Just take extra care to align everything, it's not really a straight shot going in especially with the bend in the pipes. Once you crush the gasket, there isn't much you can do to "uncrush" it.

That being said, if I had to do it over again, I'd probably just get the standard, thicker gaskets, just for piece of mind knowing I've got a better seal on there.

So I am using the SE gasket + a copper flat gasket from the older EV0 motor. it works REALLY good I have NO exhaust leaks and NO intrusion into the exhaust port.

I replaced my OEM gasket with SE as recommended by my parts guy at the dealership. He said the SEs are easier to install. No issues after install.
