Default Where does this piece go on a CV Carb?

I took my CV Carb to clean on my 97 Sporty 1200. While taking apart the carb a brass collar just fell out but now I can't figure out where it goes. (Checked my manual & Clymer and I still can't figure it out)

See parts diagram below. It's #34 a brass Collar. Anyone know?

Sorry, but your going to have to use a larger (higher resolution) picture than that thumbnail.

#31 in my parts book is a screw.

+1 on the photo.

I have a 96 and could look in my manual if I wasn't at work already.

Wherever you got that pic from, there should be a parts list with numbered parts description. Suggestion, take a pic of the part that fell out next to a coin. I am sure someone will recognize it.

I suspect the item # given (#31) in the OP may be a typo.

I show 2 collars on that page, #21 & #32, so it's impossible to guess which one he's referring to as either one of them could be a 1 digit typo and they are similar enough that a photo of the collar probably won't help.

#31 in the 95/96 Parts Manual is the "Float Chamber ASM".

Give me a few minutes cHarley and I'll post the pages.

Well your drawing only has 1 (#26) collar, which is the same as my #21 collar.

The other collar I have goes in one hole of the slide cover that supports the throttle cable bracket.

Hey guys, Sorry for the small diagram and thanks for quick replies. I found that one on the internet half asleep last night.

Here's the parts diagram from my Official Factory Manual 1997 XLH Models. It's part "34" Collar (HD Part # 27263-96).

Here's a picture of the actual part:

it's a spacer associated with the throttle cable bracket. it fits down the hole where the screw goes through the cap where the bracket is attached......it spaces the bracket up and gives the screw something solid to torque against seeing how OEM top covers are plastic..
