Just realized when I originally said that the Cycle Shack slip-ons were posted on their website for $290 ($250 on eBay motors), I was unknowingly referring to the 3" slip-on mufflers. The 2.5" slip-on mufflers are $154 on eBay motors.

Anyone know the difference between the two? Does the 3" have $100 worth of extra performance/sound?

3 inch is going to have more air flow, and thus a potential for more performance, after to make other changes. But, much less sound.

SportyPig, you're a wealth of knowledge. You saved me $100 and showed me louder pipes. I appreciate the help. Now only if you were in Phoenix, AZ I'd buy you a beer or two.

Hold that thought on the beers. I'm currently planning a trip for next June/July that will eventually bring me to Phoenix.

Seriously? Let me know when, I know of some great rides in the area if you'll have your bike during the trip.

Oh yeah, I'll be on my Scoot. This will be a trip for the Ultra Classic though. Probably going to end up being about a month long bike ride.

Cycle Shacks are very similar to Screamin Eagle slip ons. There are now multiple versions of SE pipes. My understanding is that about 5 or 6 years ago, Cycle Shack was the company that make the Screamin Eagle pipes. I was never able to verify that, but I heard it from multiple sources.
