Default Iron 1200ns

Anyone out there purchased a new one with oil leak. Made two payments and only 40 miles on her, took to dealer Saturday for head light update got home and smelled oil, looked and found wet spot under filter where crankcase halves bolt together , fixing to take back to dealer for major repairs. Just makes me Sick!

I guess it could be but mine sure looks like crankcase halves. I got dealer picking up tomorrow. Thanks.

I have a 2021 Iron 1200 I bought new in January of this year. No leaks and over 600 miles on the bike. Did you check if the oil is coming from the filter? Perhaps it's not on securely. Or some residual oil from setup managed to drip down after you got the bike nice and hot.
