One of my friends put an eyebolt into a rafter in his garage and then uses a rachet strap to lift his bike. It's not ideal but it is cheaper than buying a jack.

Do one shock at a time.

If you gotta go up or down, get a friend to pick up on the rear of the bike or sit on it while you wrench.

I made this hand jack out of old gym equipment. I've seen them made out of wood too: a 2x6 with a 2x4 handle, but that could go horribly wrong if it failed, so I like the welded rig better:

I used a small board and a Van Scissor jack to replace my 2 different sets of shocks on my V-rod. Only lift it to take the pressure off and you will be good.

2 friends, a big block of wood, and the drink of choice in Brazil and you should have it done in no time!
PS: I love Brazil, you have the most beautiful women and the best race car drivers in the world.
