Have a 2004 1200R and trying to find out if gas tank and fenders from a 2007 1200C will fit.

I would also like to swap the stock tach/speedo for a single 3.5" speedo that I have. Problem is that the wiring plugs are different. Any way to get an adapter of some sort to make this work? Speedo I want to use is also from a '07 1200.

Any help, ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated!

I know that the tank won't fit due to the holes it has for mounting the fuel pump. Anything '04 thru '06 will fit. In '07 they went to fuel injection so all the later tanks have the fuel pump in them.

The fenders should, though.

 

As far as the wiring , you can always splice and solder.
