Lick's Solo Bags vs. La Rosa
Hello everyone. I know Lick's makes an exceptional bag. Has anyone bought or seen the La Rosa solo bag and what do you think of it? Thanks.
|
Just bought a La Rosa and installed it last night. I'll post pics here in a little bit. I turned the leather mounting straps around so the buckles were on the inside of the bag so I could tighten it down better. It was hard to try and fasten the buckles had I fastened them on the outside of the bag to the frame. One more cup of coffee and I'll go get a pic for you.

Here ya go.
I was going to get a Licks but wanted to save a few dollars so I got the La Rosa. Looks good...I'm just worried about thr bag maybe rubbing against the battery cover while riding. But that might happen no matter what bag you have... |
OK - it`s been 2 hours now - does it rub?
|
Having only recently seen the licks bag for real, have to say it's a nice looking bag.
If your looking to save a few $$ there is an alternative to the licks and la rosa bags. I got one and it's awesome. Have a look here:- https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...-solo-bag.html |

If you use a velcro strip on the bag and battery cover you wont get any rubbing and the paint will not get damaged. Plus done right you wont see the velcro strip at all.
|
It will rub the side cover. I put a piece of soft velcro on the edge of my Licks bag and a small strip of 3M clear film on the side cover.
