Default Drag bars, shorter wires?

Hi all, I just put drag bars on my 89 Sportster. They look really good, but I ended up with alot of extra wire from the controls. Is it recommended to shorten this or to tuck it? And if I shorten it, where is it best to make the cut?

Thanks!

Personally, I would tuck it.

I also just put drag bars on and I tucked them. I did not want to cut them and have to splice them back together again. Also I plan on doing a wire tuck under the tank this winter so I did not want to make my job harder later.

I would tuck them as well. You never know if you switch bars later on down the road and might need the extra length.

I did`nt have to anything with my drag bars - wires are a bit long but nothing I can`t live with.
