Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't typically hang out in the Sportster forum. Does anyone know if a Nightster seat will fit an 883 or 1200? My wife is trying to find a bike, and due to her height, the Nightster seat fits perfectly. But, we are trying to give her more options for her first bike then just getting a Nightster because the seat fits!

Yes, it'll fit. But it sounds like the height is the issue. In that case, I'd say look at the SuperLow. It's more comfortable than the Nightster, and less than 1/2" taller.

 

Thanks. I appreciate the guidance. You're right that height is an issue, along with the width of the seat - maybe a Super Low with a Nightster seat. The 1200N seat is about 1" narrower than the Super Low and the 883 Iron.

You can allso have a custom seat build using the standard seat pan they can scult just about anything..H.

 

I have a stock solo seat from an Iron with the HD passenger pillion. Great condition. The only difference between the Iron & Nightster seats is that the Iron seat extends to the tank where the Nightster seat has a gap.

That's a good answer for the OP. Get a SuperLow with this seat.
