Well, I think I may add a windshield, Change my seat from a solo to a king/queen 2 up, add a sissybar to attach some more bags ect... , and take off.

I did a 9000 mile trip around the US, no windshield, no saddle bags, camping out the entire time, on a Triumph 750.
No heated grips, no radio, no gps, no cell phone, no electric start, no belt drive, no tubeless tires.

I thought it was easy and fun.
Spoiled I think we are these days...

Here you go, 7000 miles on an 883 and with a tight budget.

Great pic r0880, I'd love to get to Oz.

Brett001, that trip report is an inspiration!

I'm with Brett. To hell with a windshield, all that crap is unnecessary luxury, and IMHO, detracts from the adventure. My wife & I are out this weekend on a color tour. I on a Noghtster and she on an 883 Superlow. No windshield on either. Mine is bobbed a bit, & hers is bone stock. Wouldn't change a thing.

Brett, you left out, no reverse and no resemblance to a Peterbilt.
