Default 2000 HD1200 keeps blowing ignition fuse...help!

So I bought a 2000 HD 1200 custom a couple months ago after it had taken a hit in the rear. It would start right up and I thought all the problems were merely cosmetic. The fuse for the headlight had blown and I replaced that. Then I couldn't get the bike to start. I noticed that it had blown the ignition fuse. I replaced the fuse and it blew again. I figured out that it wouldn't blow if the kill switch was in the "off" position. But as soon as I flipped it to "run" it would blow the fuse again. If I remove the black/white line to the ignition coil then the ignition fuse won't blow. When I reconnect the ignition coil but have the bank sensor uplugged then it takes until a few seconds after I hit the start button and the engine tries to turn over before the fuse blows. What in the world is going on? I've checked for visibly worn wires but I don't see any. Is there any help or advice out there?

Looks like you 'll have to get a wiring diagram and start checking that all the conectors are in the proper order. Was the bike in the repair shop and did they have to unplug wiring to get accses.?

I've got the manual for the bike and I've got through the wiring diagram. Do you know what the bank angle sensor is? Is never been in the shop as far as I know. The weird part is that is was cranking fine until I turned the handlebars to the right. Something clicked and now it does this fuse blowing crap. I can't find a bare or pinched wire but I suspect that's what it is.

Smile Crisis averted

Ok, I figured it out. I found the dead short. It was a result of an earlier exploration I made into why the headlight wouldn't work. I've got it fixed now and I'm finally ready to ride after a month of tinkering.
