sporster bars
hi out there,does anyone know the bar size of a 2006 sporster? i want to get some new grips and am not sure of diameter!!

You have 2 cables...but that shouldn't matter if you're just looking at grips.

wasnt sure how they fit on,thought maybe they fit under the switch housing and throttle cable was attached?

it is a valid question as alot of grips do come preglued on the throttle tube, but almost all the newer bikes have two cables unless someone changed it. I actually think it is a legal thing for the companies when building. The double cables are a saftey thing, one twists the throtle on the other with a spring twists it back, so if you let go of the throttle it goes back to idle, in other words in a crash the throtle should have less chances of getting stuck in the on positin
