I hope it's just the weird angle, but it looks like the weld in this pic is cracked. (up high)

Had to do a double take. Hadn't notice since I was aiming for the rust. Just checked it and it's the angle and the way the light hit it. No crack.

Good catch!

Doesn't take many miles. Just a lot of water in the air and on the roads. Took mine out today, beautiful sun, darn cold. Had to cruise around and check out all the flood damage around Hood Canal.

It was a nice day indeed. Wanted to take it out and ride a bit but way too busy - let alone washing it.

You're telling me. I wash my bike once a year probably. No point when as soon as you go two blocks and you have mud and dirt all over it again. The rusting is what bothers me. Oh well....I don't really see moving out of the PNW anytime soon

On my bike, all the rust is on aftermarket parts (except the scratch on the swing arm).

Thanks man, I just wanted to ditch all the stickers on the bike, including the gigantic ones on the tank.
You did a good job on your sporty. Looks good. I don't think it looks that dirty. Kinda normal for around here. lol...

When nature bites back, yep i'm on the coast we get a nice sticky sea mist that blows through and feeds off exposed metal.I'm constantlly checking for rust and brandishing the Q20 can.

Ive never washed mine. Mother Nature does it for me. All I have to do is blow dry it at 70.

One of my fav scoots is down to the Farmers Market in Vancouver. There is a little black Gal there that makes the best fried chicken in the state. She makes all kinds of down home southern foods.
