To me it's just that one step further to have something that the guy next to you can't just go buy & bolt on.
Exactly, and same here. As Sam Foose used to tell Chip, "Pay attention to the details." Plus, at dusk the tins and the gauge are both very visible.

I love the motogadget speedo. If it was really 245 I would have ordered it a looooong time ago. More like 600-700 and that is just to rich for me.

I did go for the MotoGadget Tiny. In my opinion the small MotoGadget Mini digital speedo looks to "modern" for my taste. The Tinys are also digital but have a nice analogue dial. It's a lot of money, yes. But in the same minute the speedo is installed you have forgot about the money...

Thanks for all the info guys, yea I guess I saw the price I wanted it to be instead of what it actually was ... decided to go with the RSD kit in the near future.

That is pretty sweet. How hard was it to wire - i'm not electrically inclined.

Did you pay about $300 for it? Where did you get it? Does it have all the dummy lights?

Although it's a bit pricy too, the Dakota Digital is really nice and says it is a direct plug in. Has alot of features as well. I will probably get this one as soon as I get a chance to.

stonewall308: $350 with the nice cover/cup. I bought it directly over internet from MotoGadget in Germany. Yes it has all the dummy lights. The speedo comes with some good instructions to, so it's pretty straight forward to install. But if you don't have any knowledge you maybe have a friend who has.
The speedo also have a really nice "automatic self calibration" function. If you change gear ratio or maybe wheel size it's easy to calibrate the speedo.
