What part doesn't fit? The 2 outer mounting holes for the heads?

Yeah, the mounting holes are about 1/2" off each to the outside and the overall depth of the bracket is about 1" too deep. It is a carb bracket but not for this bike.

Also, the holes about the center are not in the same location. I would just try and modify it but it would take cutting and welding, somthing I don't have the tools to do.

As long as I can swap it out for the correct one, I will be satisfied enough. Crap happens.

That one is for a big twin. Sucks man. Hopefully he'll have the right one for you.

This is a great idea...wonder how it would work for my Dyna? :)

He refunded me and paid for shipping of the wrong one back to that was good of him. He didn't have anymore so I will order it elsewhere.

Great work, great information as well, I have been looking for a filter that gives my bobber the old school look, Thank you.

mreed do you believe this intake would cause any problem with a sporty with forward controls? I.e. inner thigh hitting the intake when riding.

I'm trying to figure out which intake route to go....mod the original box, or do this setup, or something like the Vance and Hines intake.

No not at all. Plenty of clearance there. Much more clearance than the stock set up.
