Default Wheel Bearing Blowout

So here I was just about to go on a ride, when I found my bike getting stuck being pushed out the garage. After looking over, I found the rear wheel bearing blown out. Does this look like the entire wheel will have to be replaced, or can it be corrected? Bike has 22k on it, if that adds to anything.
Also, is 90-100ft/lb the correct torque for the rear axle nut? I couldn't find an exact spec online.

Hard to tell from the picture. Is that a burr in the centre? Is the seat and face for the bearing damaged?

The center does have a burr on the belt side, & the face appears slightly damaged. Also appears that the center is out of round.

I think either way I'll be ordering a new wheel and replacing the bearings in those, any brand suggestions?

I don’t see damage that would affect the function of the wheel. Knock out the old bearing races, clean up any burrs that would effect the installation of the new bearings, drive a new set in and you should be good to go.

Check... then double check, the Spacer for correct endplay, of the bearings ...

That hub looks like it got pretty chewed up in there.

Indeed - most of the damage is after the bearing failed. That is a rare event IMHO (never had a wheel bearing fail in over 50 years of riding!). What model and year of bike?

That was an accident averted! Looks like a new spacer and set of bearings may be all you need. The inner part of the bearing is hogged out, but if the outer part of the bearing didn't spin in the wheel hub, the wheel is likely ok.

I would have that wheel checked out. Bad things could happen. Something is not right, and you need to know what caused this.
