I helped put a PCV on my brother-in-laws bike. It was located right under the seat and initially it jacked up his rears. After some tweaking they were fine.

I once had a problem with the wiring harness underneath my fender. It rubbed against the tire, causing a few faulted wires. After a little soldering, and a better method of holding the harness, I have resolved the issue. I check every now and then to make sure it's still where it should be. Huge PITA.

It`s just a brake light problem for crying out loud, not the end of the world.

Things go wrong on new machines, any brand, car, bike, airplane, boat.

That is what the warranty is for.
