Default intermittant misfires

Have a 2001 Sportster XL with 8k miles. Starts and idles fine but after riding 15-20 minutes, begins to misfire intermittantly at take-off and between gears. Sometimes does it and sometimes does not. Changed plugs, wires, coil and fuel valve and filter. Appreciate suggestions. Thanks.

Pull your carb and clean it. Also make sure your intake bolts are tight.

A scooter with that many years, I say check the intake gasket, it might need to be replaced.

+1, I'd replace the intake gasket that the carb seats in and the gaskets that seal the intake to the heads.
