Hey everyone,

I'm working on a build and have a single sportster shock that I like the look of and would like to pick up another. I figure I have more chances if i know what models it came on so I can dig through ebay a little better. So can anyone tell me what model these came on?

The one I have measures 11 inches eye to eye. I've also seen some that have black springs. I'd really like a set of them but I have no clue what they came on. And I'd really like to stay in the 11 inch range.

Those look just like 48 shocks. 11" eye to eye are what the 48's come stock with.

 

I believe the Nightster, Irons and 48s all use 11" shocks.

 

thanks guys. i appreciate it. gives me a little more to go on to do my search. i originally joined this forum to put an add in the wanted section but i can't do that until 30 days and 25 posts. but i think this information will help me find something on ebay. on the off chance that any of you know someone looking to get rid of one of these (or eve a set) feel free to send me a pm to let me know.

sorry, one more question. do you happen to know the model numbers of these bikes. i've sometimes seen where people simply list a model number on ebay. that might help me track a set down a little faster. thanks again.

 

I havent measured my shocks, but mine look the same as yours with the exception of the black, and mine are on my 02 XLH. Matter of fact, I just bumped them up a couple notches.
