Exclamation Vance N Hines Competition 2 into 1... looking for feedback!

Just ordered a 2018 HD Forty Eight and I want to change the stock pipes right away cause I can't handle the ugly chrome and shitty stock sound.

I'm in love with the Vince N Hines Competition 2 into 1 Competition Series but I was reading in other forums (V-ROD users) complaining about the amount of heat they produce and that the black finish fading off over time. They also don't like the positioning of the O2 sensor being to exposed.

I'm not sure if thats only the case with V-ROD applications or if its something that affects other models like the Forty Eight.

I love the way they look and sound. But I also want to ride in comfort and not burning my right leg while riding.

Someone here with this exhaust that can give me a better feedback before pulling out the trigger?

Thanks!

Do you care about performance? Because it's a very poor performing pipe.

Not much! Sound and looks are my priorities.

i run a 2 into 1 on my sporty ( 2013 ), and love the sound.
it does get hot a bit. the o2 sensors do not concern me at
all. i've had tons of compliments on the bike, and not one
person has ever said, hey, look at those ugly o2 sensors
sticking out.

your mileage may vary...

Seems like this exhaust is not too popular within Sporters users...

I'll buy the bullet anyhow! I'll keep everybody posted!

Exposed O2's are a good thing. My D&D O2's are a PIA to get to and get off.

don't forget to grab an o2 wire extension with that set up.
.. i think maybe v&h comes with it, but i'd check to confirm.
