Any more XL 50's being shipped?
 

I know that Harley has announced that only 2000 50th 's will be built. Does anybody know if there will be anymore shipped in the upcoming phases? How many are dealers being allocated? Are the black and orange equally distributed? Thank you smokeygold

I ordered mine aug. 10 and came in on oct 5 and is #1421 thats the highest number i've seen so far. if you want one you better act fast

When you say "ordered it" what does that mean? I have a deposit on one and I'm not sure if my dealer is getting any more!!! The dealer said he won't know until his next sheet telling him what is coming in the next phase.

i saw it on the HD web site and called the dealer and asked if they could get an orange one for me. they took my name and # and called me back an hour later and said yes. they had a black one but i dont think it even made it to the showroom floor. thats all there was to it,but like i said i called aug. 10. i hope you get one. i think it's crunch time now.

What I was told is that the XL50's are being allocated based on a dealership's sales volume.
Most dealerships should get at least one, some perhaps two or more. Remote delerships don't usually sell them as quickly, therefore depending how helpful your dealer, you should get one soon. You may want to aggressively call around yourself and see if any other dealers in your state or province have an XL50 in stock.

No clue on colour allocation. I'm assuming 50/50 split but I've seen three or four orange in person, have not seen a black one yet.

Mine barely made it out of the crate too, I bought it on the spot ( but I'd sell it for the right price....)

So with the $2000.00 for leaving the showroom depreciation plus a $1000.00 discount for being an HDF member I'd say 6795.00 would be a fair starting point! Still want to move it?

# 1 : its a limited edition bike, so it wont depreciate much
# 2 : I just want what I paid for it, I'd throw in the accessories the bike is mint
# 3 : it would come with 2000.00 of accessories ( clip on windshield, clip on backrest. engine guard)

Your offer needs a re-think...

You are to low for a used 07. $8000-$8500 would be a fair price for this bike.

As of earlier this month, they were still being built at the Kansas City factory. With numbers over 1400 accounted for, they may at or near the end of the line. Mine's black!

if you are anywhere near new jersey my local dealer has 2 of them in stock right now..one black and one orange..
