Default Changes to my 1200 Custom...suggestions welcome!

I have recently made some changes to my 09 Custom Sportster. I got rid of the bobtail fender and added a chopped rear fender. I also got rid of my front wheel and replaced it with a spoke/black powder coated rim. I am still waiting for the matching rear to come in. Also added drag bars and changed tank emblem. I plan on adding a Roland Sands Air Cleaner and some Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes. Also looking to add a solo seat. I am welcoming any suggestions that might help take it to another level. Thanks!

My only suggestion would be look at other brands of exhausts. Don't get me wrong V&H makes a good product but....Everybody and Their Mother has them.

I agree to change the seat. I don't like the lines of your bike with that seat.

Yeah that bike looks better to me with the seat in the thumbnail that has the bobtail on it(not my bike so use what you like the best)

I have to agree with Aaron though on the pipes make it your own and unique which I know is hard to do these days it seems sometimes

Every bike on here has the same **** rsd v/h same bars same everything there is no way to be unique anymore. Just do what you like it's all been done already.

I agree. That's part of the reason I went to Martin Bro's pipes-not many have them, plus I got a killer deal on them.

+1 on the pipes. I'd rather have stock pipes with a stripped baffle then buy v&h...but to each their own...

and for heavens sakes...get rid of all that chrome!!!!!! heh jk.

Let me know if the wheels you took off are for sale, and if so, how much?

Wife has the Joker Machine air cleaner and I had the NHRS air cleaner on mine (I like that one the best) with Joker Machine Tiki breathers, made great HP/TQ with the Supermeg!
