Fat bob versus sportster
What is the difference between a fat bob and sportster?
|
Two entirely different platforms?
|
Lots, frame, engine, trans, etc, etc, etc, etc......
|
They have 0 (zero) major components in common. I think the hand controls may cross over, but that's about it.
The Fat Bob is longer, taller, heavier, has a bigger engine (less horsepower, though), separate transmission, etc. |
dynas and sportys do have a few things in common, but as the previous posts indicate- not a whole lot.
best answer to your question is on the harley site, where you can see exact specs, photos, etc http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...bmLocale=en_US |
They are very different motorcycles ....
|
About $7000+. Sorry, my smartass side leaked out again.
But really, take a new Iron and add $7000 worth of mods, I'd think it'd be a hell of a better looking and riding machine than the Bob. |

My friend has a fatbob, seriously tho they're 2 different bikes. Dyna has the twin cam, while the sportster has the evo. Aside from the engine, frame, tank, etc... Oh, and the dynas comes with a fuel gauge and six gears! The only similarity I could think of is that they both have exposed rear shocks. |
