Does anyone have a pic of the warning bars on the stock dunlops? I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.
Screw the bars,,Get a tire depth guage,,,4/32nds or 3/32nds Is not
gonna channel water as well.
As the tire sipes reach this depth the rubber cannot flex as well with
roadsurface Imperfections,,Grip Is diminishing.
A properly rounded profile motorcycle tire is pretty hard to hydroplane,
A flat Middle will kill you In the wet stuff.

Be very aware of tiny cracks anywhere on the tire..
This Is a signal that the rubber Is drying out and will not heat cycle
properly anymore.

So I'm looking at new tires once a year no matter how many miles I have on them?

Looks like they will be on the top of my short list. Thanks for the heads up.

I got 17,000 miles out of my stock dunlops. The hd tech said they have never seen that. Lol

got 20,000 miles on original brake pads right now....

No joke.

My 2006 just flipped 16k miles. Had a new front tire put on last weekend. I'm gonna have the back replaced in the fall or next spring. Sure made a difference in the ride and feel by just replacing the front.
