Default New 48 time to order some parts need help

Just bought my first bike a 11 forty eight i see alot of guys run drag bars i love the look can anyone tell me who makes a good set that will work also can i replace the stock tailight bulbs with led ones without causing a load issue since leds draw less amps?

Hi and congrats!

You can shop for drag bars on denniskirk.com, customchrome.com, or j&pcycles.com. They all sell cheap drag bars.

Hope that helps!

Sam Power sports on ebay has some 32" dimpled ones for $40 shipped. Very nice quality. There was just another thread about drag bars though so you may want to look that one up for some more places to look for them.

As for the LED bulbs you will need to run load equalizers because they don't draw much power. Your blinkers will blink really fast if at all. The stock bulbs are actually really bright. Brighter than some LED's I have seen.

LEDs were one of the easiest mods I did to my nightster - ended up costing about $120 for 4 smoked covers, 2 red and 2 amber lights and 1 plug-n-play load EQ.
I got the solid state badlands one - it's a bit on the pricier side, but I didn't want to worry about heat ever being an issue and you just plug it in under the seat. SUPER easy
