XL1200C Sportster Custom as a Starter Bike?
#42
I have an '011 xl1200c with 5500 miles on it I'm selling for 7k. You'll find it very easy to ride, due to it's light weight, but it has a ton of torque and will yank you right off the seat if you jerk the throttle. I'm about your size and I don't really consider it a "Starter bike". A Kowabazmo 600 would be a starter bike.

My 1200 Custom arrived on the Friday and I passed my test on the Monday morning.
When I took my test I was on a Ducati Monster and getting on the Sporty for the first time it was a whole different ball game.
But can it be your first bike...Hell Yeah!
22k miles later I am loving it...
If you respect the bike and the torque and get out there and put miles on it and get used to it you will have the time of your life...
