Anyone know where to find mounts for passenger pegs for a 79 Sportster? I was about to drill through the swing arm and through bolt them on but I was recently told they made a bracket that attaches to the shock bolts? can anyone confirm this or make any suggestions?

 

Slight Bump as nobody replied yet. went by Nelson's Hawg House today with no luck all the mounts he had in the books were for, every year except 1979.... wtf didn't the 79s come with passenger pegs? I'm probably going to buy an engine mounted bracket for a 78 and weld the ****in thing straight to the engine mount. pain in the *** this bike is turning out to be... Avoid the 79s they aren't ripe yet.
