just took off my 19 inch front for a 21 inch front it fills the big fender to tire gap nicely with the 19 inch wheel theres a noticable gap between the fender and tire.

 

Just don't like the spoke wheel..

 

HD uses the same fender on the C model as on the standard Sporty, the fender is the same. The 19" tire has a taller sidewall than the 21", so there is not that much difference in the fender gap between the two. Go look at any stock (non C model) Sporty on the dealer floor.. The difference in the diameter of the mounted 19" tire vs 21", is about 3/8", as I recall, so the gap difference would be half of the 3/8" (using the tire radius).

Would anyone want to trade my Sportster Iron wheels(19in) for their Sportster Custom 21in wheels?

 

I know this is an old thread but I want to change my 21" front wheel to a 19" on my '97 1200 custom as I have fitted a Voyager Trike Kit to it & want to run a radial on the front.

What do I need to do????.
