Looks good Rick, been thinking about doing the same and removing front turn signals, seem useless. Here is my front light, not sure where it came from since i picked it from someones front yard for $5 bucks... I think i scored...

I love the way a fatboy headlamp looks on my 48, lights up the road better too!

seems many dont like them and they are stock on the nightsters? I like those i think.

To help with the sticking out just turn the mount around. Its hard to explain but the bolt that attaches to the bike and then the light can be reversed and will then put the light back into the frame more.

Not a 48 of course, my old Nightster with an eBay Fatboy light I had powder coated.
