I like the 48 look. My favorite bike looks are the "cafe racers", old skewl, large headlight, low, fat.


I would really like to see your pics of what you did for the front. Specifically a larger lamp (if that's being done). Also, links to buy headlamp parts would help too, if you post yours up add a link. Just trying to get some ideas of what she can look like.

Here are some snippets of what I found from you guys so far. These are nice and the "eye" look is very appealing to me. Not sure what that is, but I notice when I see them. The tripple lamps are pretty cool too. Or just a blacked out "rim". mmm...

I think the fatboy headlight looks sweet on the 48's that's next for mine after I get my new pipes in a few weeks If you search for 7" fatboy headlights on ebay they are around $80 for the light and bracket.

 

Cool. yeah searched and seen some of those just now. I like that size, but i'd want it to be recessed back closer to the bike - not sticking out so far from what I've seen.

So those eye things are called eyebrows. i was close. seems many dont like them and they are stock on the nightsters? I like those i think.

 

i will trade you my headlight assembly for yours.i want a pedestal mounted light like the 48 and not the brow style i have right now.

How bout a FLHST bezel powder coated black! thats what I did on mine.

 

All you have to do to recess the fatboy light is flip the mounting bracket around that it comes with and it will pull the lamp in closer to the bars. That's my plan.
