Default Mustand Seats ..worth the money?

My *** hurts!!! .....no comments please...

anyways ....60 miles down the road my stock solo just doesn't cut it. I want something I can sit in for several hours. How about this?

http://www.mustangseats.com/Product.aspx?ID=1207

After I work out the windshield buffeting (that's in another thread) I need a comfy seat. I like the back rest idea. I'm thinking I'll be able to lean up against it quite nicely on those long rides. I'll be a solo rider my the way ...no two-uping here.

Anyone have experience with these seats?

Thanks!

Sure like my Mustang Vintage Solo! Last full day ride was 610 miles over 12.5 hours in one day, 6 gas stops. Decided it was about 3 to 4 hours more than I want to do again, but what the heck, I know my limit. Have not tried them all but won't be switching mine out.

wow - 12.5 hours on any bike is a lot!!
wide mustang on my bike- its the 3rd attempt to find one i like and this one is the winner. been riding it for a coupla years now. my long trips are 200 miles in a day (about 4 hours with stops), but i can tell you that i run outta gas before i have to make a stop cause of butt time.
i do ride two up and my +2 is how i judge seats... the wide mustang is by far her fav too.
imo its the best long distance seat for the sporty thats made.
i even like the look on my bike

Many members claim that seat is the best out there, comfort wise. I have the solo tripper which I've done a 700 mile, 13 hour trip on 5 times this summer and the seat is pretty good.

It is a very comfortable seat, that's for sure, and if you're after comfort look no further. But it will raise you an inch+, so make sure you're comfortable with that. Also, the nose of the seat is wider than stock so it feels different at a stop.

My Mustang Vintage Solo is a huge improvement over the stock seat.

They say its for the 3.3 tank, but would it fit with a 2.1 peanut?
