Well, the stars aligned and I got me a new scoot. Took me a few times to figure out the jockey shift suicide clutch but I rode her home 120 miles. So awesome I can't sleep!

Any details on that bike? Like year, model etc? Where did you get it?

It's a 1997 Buell Neck with a 1996 Sporty Motor upgraded to a 1200. First prototype of the LED SLED kick starter for Sportys. I can kick her over on the second kick. Also it's a full frame except for the neck, the springer, kicker, floor boards, frame, fender, fender struts, jockey shifter, oil bag... all LED SLED built. LED SLEDs is out of Dayton, OH check out their website. They build quality scoots!!!

stupid question but is it real rust or patina? Im digging the rust look a lot

Real rust on most of it, the engine covers were acid dipped. Bike runs strong and sounds sick as hell! I can't believe I own this beast! Guys @ Led Sleds are awesome too!

Your covers are copper plated then acid dipped I believe. I stopped by there once and Joe explained to me how they do it. I wasn't paying much attention though. My brain wasn't keeping up with my eyes.

That's a slick ass bike. We should meet up somewhere in Ohio. I'd like to check it out.
