sportster 48 tank lift???

mine was a 1.5" lift on the stock 48 2.1 gallon tank. Spittered sputtered at 45 miles and ran out at 50 miles. Had to push her to the gas station. Only took about 1 gallon to fill it up. Realized that the other gallon was never gonna get used. I now have it back to stock and can pull 60-65 miles out of it. I need to get it dynoed though for more fine tuning.

That doesn't seem right at all that you got 50 miles max with a 1.5 tank lift. I think you have some other issues going on. Unless you were only using 1st and 2nd gear and revving the hell out of it lol.

Its because of my pipes with no baffles or oxygen sensors. Ruined my gas mileage. I will be getting it dynoed soon to get it mapped better for my mods. I have the PCV with a basic map set up right now and only get 60-65 miles and the tank is empty with out a tank lift. I do rev the **** out of it though!
