Just thought I'd point out that it doesn't matter if your dad had a working tailight or not. Pedestrians, parked cars, road fixtures, animals, etc. do not have tailights but if you hit one...it's on you. The guy is an ***.

 

I hate seeing this, I wish him and his old lady a speedy recovery and may God bring justice to the driver of that car.

It was pretty much the entire lower back and down one leg. Its a nice Yellow color now. looks nasty!

 

An update.... The insurance company must realize regardless their driver was at fault. Offered 600 more than what he paid for the bike to him (3 years ago) already cutting check for helmets, his prescrip glasses and took the bills for ambulance rides, ER and dr visits.
Funny,Pops had the adjuster come by the house to have him sign the medical release forms. He made sure she got a glimpse of that nasty bruise yesterday, she was shocked. Hope it helps the cause, just waiting to see what they offer him to settle.

Things are looking up for him but he still is pissed about his bike, told him you got the money and the time it can be replaced.
