Default My 48, after TWO years***Updated***

Or close enough anyway. ~6500 miles so far and I still absolutely love it. I couldnt believe Ive had it this long. Ive ridden a few other bikes and still find the 48 the most enjoyable. Figured I'd post a sort of chronilogical post with pics as it went along and everything that was done.

All stock....

Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes, stage 1 intake and Power Commander

HD springer seat with black ostrich inserts

LeRosa solo bag and fork bag

Pegs and shifter from member 4t8, next I swapped out the stock bars for a set of low rise chubby Z bars, relocated the plate, removed the flip out plate and rear reflectors

Painted the tank and side covers and removed the fork reflectors...I'll probably do the rear fender soon to match the tank.

Swapped out the chubby Z bars for a set of 12" Nash Chubby Grits, Burly cables and white grips.

Removed the seat springs for rubber stops, added 12" Street Glide air shocks, and an adjustable lowering kit.

DK coil and ignition relocation, wrapped and tucked the wiring with no tank lift.

I was able to make a deal for my old stock shocks plus a little $$$ and picked up a Legend Air ride kit. It rides about the same as the Street Glide shocks but I love the on the fly adjustability and the option to let the air all the way out when stopped so it sits low. I left the lowering block on it so it can sit even lower. Also powdercoated my derby cover.

Stick on seat and passenger pad fur the ladies

Lastly an S&S tear drop intake with a couple different covers that I swap out. This is currently how it sits for now. Ive got a few more things in mind over time. Probably going to paint the fender and I want a different exhaust.

Hey, looks badass. How do you like the Big Rads? I'm thinking about getting the same ones but have heard mixed things. Wanna sell the Z bars?

Really good looking package. Everything just fits...looks like a real comfortable ride too.

hello all,
this is my first post. just wanted to say your 48 looks great!! I test rode a 2011 48 today with only 150 miles on it. It was my first time ever riding a Harley and I loved it, but the ride was kind of a mistake because now I really need to come up with $10k!
