Default 6'4 on an iron 883

i am looking to buy my first street bike, i have been riding motorcycles for quite a while now but have never owned a street bike. i was looking for some insight from iron 883 owners, i am 6'4 with a 36" inseam 190lbs and was wondering if the bike itsself would be too small for me, if theres anyone out there who can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Your even too tall for a 1200. Try sitting on a Fat Bob.

The 1200 and 883 have the same dimensions other than engine size.

I'm 6'3'' 215 and I have a nightster. I put forward controls and mini-apes on it and it's very comfortable for me. I don't have any experience with a fat bob - could be sweet.

I'm 6' 1" and 275 and my 1200C is way too small. Friends say I look okay though.

I could care less what I "look like" but at 6'1", 220# a sporty is too small for me.

I am 6 feet 160 #. I ride a 88 883. I like it. Forward controls will be a must. Can you take a test ride to see if it fits you?

Go try one out. Everybody has different opinions. I am 6'1" 220lbs and with the forwards I fit just fine on my XL50, I love it!

Man this seems to be the first time in my life that I am happy to be 5'11 I sit on my Iron and I am just flat out comfortable . might someday move up to forward controls, want to feel some first.
