Default HD black dragbars

Hey everyone,

Just ordered the 32 in black drag bars HD came out with this yr for my iron ... Just wanted to kno if anyone got these and installed them. Did you keep all stock cables or have to change any ?>

I do not have the HD ones, have Flander's narrow drags - 27.5". I also added 3.5" straight risers.

Stock cables work, but are a bit too long and messy looking now, new custom magnum cables go on this week.

Alright ... I am just trying to figure out if I need to get cables ... I dont think I should they are same width as stock bars ... just no rise

You should have plenty of length with stock, main question is, will there be too much slack in the cables?

Your bars are 3.5 inches wider, so I would think it would be fine.

I put the HD drag bars on my 48, you don't need the cables, the Harley catalog misleads you to think that you do. The Iron is a whole different animal, but on my bike I ended up removing the headlight to route the clutch cable behind it because of the extra length. Here's some pics of my bike that might help.

Do you guys like the drag bars? I like the idea and style of drag bars I'm just not sure I like the functionality of it.

nice man. i may want to do this on my 48. linky please. any other tips too bro. like it better than stock?

They aren't too bad really, they make for a more aggressive riding position, I definitely wouldn't want to ride for maybe more than an hour or so. Mine was built more as a barhopper, for longer rides I'll be buying a dyna in a couple months.
