New handlebars for My SuperLow
#12
I totally agree. However, this is the smallest bike Harley has and I did have them adjust both the handlebars and pegs. On my second time out, my pant leg got suck on the peg and I almost dropped the bike. Changed to forward pegs. No issues. While the bars were adjusted, I still had to reach more than necessary. Seat I knew I would have to change due to my height.
I am not the only person with a SuperLow on this forum with these complaints. I wanted a Harley and if I had to do it again, I would still buy this bike. At the end of the day, the bike is a keeper. Great ride, balance, fast, and fun. I just tell myself just another hundred dollars get over it.

My next change will be adding buckhorn bars...

I would rethink the buckhorns. Find a pair and see if your hands are positioned where you like them. I believe you will find your wrists will be in an awkward position. I think you will be more comfortable with your wrists positioned straight and not significantly bent. IMHO

I have my bike back. The handlebars look great. I am flat footed with street shoes without heels. This was an added bonus. I took it for a short ride. The handlebars feel comfortable and feels different than stock. I actually scraped my peg which never happened with the stock bars. I can't wait to go on a longer ride. Here are some pictures.
I see you have floorboards also on your low. Can you tell me what kind they are and where you got them ? I am having a hard time finding anyone who makes floorboards for a 2012 model with forward controls.
