Seat I knew I would have to change due to my height.

I am not the only person with a SuperLow on this forum with these complaints. I wanted a Harley and if I had to do it again, I would still buy this bike. At the end of the day, the bike is a keeper. Great ride, balance, fast, and fun. I just tell myself just another hundred dollars get over it.
Forward controls or highway pegs? I went with Forward controls. Also changed to a Wild1 Chubby 508 bar.

It also happened to me when I rented an 883R in Italy last year....that was the reason that my 883 Low has forward controls...and to be honest...they're much more comfortable than the stock setup...

My next change will be adding buckhorn bars...

Forward Controls. I am too short for highway pegs.

You had me confused when you said "forward pegs".

I would rethink the buckhorns. Find a pair and see if your hands are positioned where you like them. I believe you will find your wrists will be in an awkward position. I think you will be more comfortable with your wrists positioned straight and not significantly bent. IMHO

ColoHarleyGirl, I would be interested in purchasing your old stock bars. It sounds like you are not very fond of them. I usually hang out at xlforum but I saw your post here. Thanks.

Those bars look nice. My wife just traded in her Street Glide for a 2012 1200 Custom. I wonder if those bars would fit her bike and if your custom builder would be interested in making another set and shipping them to me.

I see you have floorboards also on your low. Can you tell me what kind they are and where you got them ? I am having a hard time finding anyone who makes floorboards for a 2012 model with forward controls.
